Birthday Dinner!

Tonight we will be dining here

Why, you may ask?

Because they are so very kind and let you have one free meal for your birthday.

And, because, by some weird coincidence, I got an email from them today letting me know that they are now serving American Bison. No, I will probably not eat it, but I like to think that they knew it was my birthday and sent the email out today just to let me know they were thinking of me.

I have promised myself that I will only go to the salad bar once and only have one bite of each of my favorite meats. I hate leaving there feeling so overwhelmingly full.

Two Wonderful Years!

Today we celebrate our 2 Year Anniversary!

In many ways it feels like it was only yesterday but, at the same time, I can no longer imagine my life without My Love!

I love you, honey!

Thank you for all you do and for making these last 2 years the best years of my life!

I know it is silly but I just had to put this on the blog for remembrance.
These little people walk along the bottom of our blog everyday counting the days of our marriage. Not often do you see them back at the beginning of the path. (ok, so maybe every year but that is still not very often)




Maybe I will try and make it a tradition... we will see if that happens.

Phone Conversation

When I answered the phone this morning, the phone call went as follows:

Me: "Craig Ainge's office, this is Mika."

Caller: "Hi, I am looking for Phil, is this his house."

Me: "Nope, I am sorry Sir, this is a business."

Caller: "Ohhhh..???"

Me: "This is the office of Craig Ainge CPA."

Caller: "Oh, ok, I guess I have the wrong number."

Me: "Well you have a good day anyway Sir."

Caller: "You're welcome."

You're welcome! What should I be welcome for??? For you wasting my time by calling the wrong number? Just thought it was pretty silly!

And on another point, You're Welcome, who came up with that saying??? Where am I welcome? I have never really thought about it before but it really doesn't make sense! Am I missing something? Probably, I will probably look like an idiot when someone reads this... if so, please tell me!

Things to look forward to in August!

• REAL Salt Lake vs. Seattle Sounders at Rio Tinto on Aug 8th (It will be hard for me to choose who to cheer for but, since I have the jersey and everything, I think will stick with REAL)
• Celebration of our anniversary on Aug 8th
• Williams 10th birthday on Aug 8th
  
• Our 2 year anniversary on Aug 11th
• Yellowstone vacation Aug 12th - Aug 16th
• My Birthday on the 19th (Lets just say it will be my 23rd)
• BYU vs. OK at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium September 4th - September 6th (I know this is not really in August but we will for sure be looking forward to it this whole month)
  

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! Only a couple more months of this horrible heat and we will be into wonderful Fall weather. Cant wait!
