Day Off

I have the BEST boss ever and yesterday he declaired today an office holiday! How wonderful.
Today I plan on:

Cleaning the kitchen (I mean really cleaning)
Doing all the laundry (so Kenton doesn't have to do it this weekend :) )
Cleaning all the bathrooms
Taking Rex on an extra long walk
Finishing a sewing project
Starting on my blog gifts
Straightening the extra bedrooms
Watering and taking care of my outdoor plants
Getting my oil changed
Running a few errands

and

Its date night, so we will finish the day:

Eating at Market Street Grill (Mr. Lobster here I come)
Going to see Transformers
And going to bed knowing that I will get to sleep in a little (sleep in for me is 7:30)

Oh how I love days off and weekends!

On Monday, Kenton made cheesy potatoes.
(funeral potatoes for those of you who know what that is)

We really didn't have all the ingredients but somehow he whipped them together and they were AMAZING!
(I know, I know, after my last post you are thinking, she definitely shouldn't be eating cheesy potatoes, BUT... moderation in all things, right?)

He really is the most wonderful husband!
He cooks for me all the time, takes the dog out at 3:00am every morning, ALWAYS does the laundry (I HATE laundry), works full time, goes to school, and pretty much does anything and everything I ask.
(I promise he is not a slave. I try to do things for him too.)
I love him more than anything!

How did I ever survive with out him? I don't know.

Starting Today...

This beauty has been sitting in my house for almost a year now.

Has it been used enough?

No

Do I feel guilty about the amount of money we spent on it for it just to sit there?

Yes

Do I HATE the 15 lbs I have gained since getting married?

Yes

Am I going to start using it again?

Yes

LIFE

I came across this quote from President Hinckley today and thought I would share.

As I was writing about my thoughts, I realized nothing else is really needed.

All I can say is that I am having one of those times.

Another Great Movie This Summer

We were a little worried about this one after seeing the horrible reviews....

BUT... we LOVED it!

Very funny!

There were a few uncomfortable moments (including one scene of Oscar from The Office) but overall it was hilarious!

We LOVE Football Season

Kenton and I have both grown up HUGE football fans!
Both of our families had season tickets to the BYU games when we where younger and, since we have been married, we have kept that tradition alive!

We are both very excited for the upcoming season and were a little bummed that the season opener will be played so far away.
Well... all I can say is that we may just be the luckiest kids alive. We found out a few weeks ago that we will be traveling here

on Sept 5, 2009 to watch our Cougs win their opening game against OK!
(yes, I am aware that this is a long shot, but we can pray)

And... if that weren't enough, we will be sitting in one of the executive boxes!
(Kenton's dad has a client that owns a box and is letting his company use it)

Yay for football and wonderful relatives that take us along on amazing vacations!

I Won.... I Never Win!

A couple of weeks ago I posted about a giveaway one of my friends was having on her blog and guess what.....

Can you believe it! I never win, and when I say never, I mean never. This is probably the first real thing I have ever won in my life. If feels nice. I wonder what it would be like to be the lucky one all the time... hmmm.

Rain Rain Rain

Rain, rain, never go away...
Come again every day!

I am just loving this weather!

Yes, I understand that it is summer, but just think of how green the rest of the summer months will be after all of this rain. And, be honest, if it were in the 90's or 100's like it usually is at this time of the year, you know you would be complaining about the heat!

Great Movie!

Such a great movie! I cried 3 times and loved every minute of it!
As many of you know, I love everything Disney but this is one that I think everyone will enjoy!
